 The corona virus has alarmed governments around the world, who are taking a number of major steps to prevent the spread of the Chinese virus.  Now the government of India has made a big announcement to get rid of this virus which will be effective till December 31.

 New Delhi: In view of the rising number of cases of coronavirus, the government has extended the term of work from home for IT and BPO companies.  The work from home guidelines issued by the government to these companies have been extended for five months.  These instructions are now valid until December 31.  The government announced this on Tuesday.  Earlier, the directives were to expire on July 31.

 In a tweet, the Department of Telecommunications said, "The Department has extended the relaxation of terms and conditions for work-from-home facilities until December 31, 2020, in response to growing concerns about the growing number of coronavirus cases."

 In March, the Department of Telecommunications relaxed some rules to provide more work from home to its employees in the wake of the Corona epidemic.  The exemption was then extended till July 31.

Now going through the present condition government in sake of people extended till 31st December .Prime Minister Modi said that he did not want his people to be on risk and want them to work from home which will be better for everyone.

The government gave this instruction on Tuesday and told that it should be strictly followed.

Schools and colleges were closed immediately after the lockdown.  Meanwhile, students are being taught through online classes and fees are being charged.  This is being opposed by the parents of the children as looking at the screen for many hours on the one hand is affecting the health of the children and the other is what they are saying.  He said that only tuition fee should be charged from them for studying from home.  Punjab Education Minister Mr. Vijayinder Singla said that Punjab has not yet sent any suggestions for reopening the schools but the decision to reopen the schools would be taken once the situation in the state improves.

 Now, the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has issued a letter to education secretaries across the country asking them to take suggestions from parents about opening schools and send a report to the Union Ministry by July 20.  At present, all educational institutions across the country are closed due to Corona.  It is said that a large number of parents have recently refused to send their children to school.  MHRD Under Secretary Rajesh Sample has written a letter on July 17 asking in which months the schools could be reopened.  The education department should contact the schools and make suggestions to them by contacting the parents.

 The Union Ministry has issued a letter on July 17 seeking details by July 20.  Officials have objected.  He said that at present schools are closed and it is not possible to get suggestions from parents in such a short time.  UT Education Secretary Arun Kumar Gupta said that a round of meetings was underway to reopen the school.  It is not possible to provide information in such a short time.  No feedback will be sent to MHRD tomorrow and it will be said that the schools will be reopened only on the orders of the Home Ministry.
