 A plasma bank has been established in Kerala's district hospital near Mananthavadya.  It is the second plasma bank in the state.  Earlier, Plasma Bank has been established in Manjari of Malappuram.  District Medical Officer Dr. Renuka inaugurated it on Sunday and said that plasma therapy is proving to be very effective for the treatment of Kovid-19 patients.

93 new cases of corona in Puducherry


  A 75-year-old woman died from Kovid-19 in Puducherry while 93 new cases of infection were reported on Monday after which the total number of cases in the Union Territory increased to 2,092.  The health department gave this information.  After the death of an old woman in the Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital in Kadirakam, the death toll from the disease rose to 29.
